Our consumption and carbon offset tracking tools and information are real power for those that have it, and a real threat to those who don't. 1. You will receive the GreenTraks Certification Seal for letterhead, websites, vehicles, and buildings, which show your organization's commitment to the environment and encourage others to participate.
2. Your company and project will be registered in the U. S. Carbon Offsets Registry where you will have a Project ID and password and a Company and/or Division ID and password where your data is protected and will not be released without your approval.
3. Your company and project will be listed on a web site with other progressive companies and projects that are taking critical and proactive steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and their effect on climate change and will receive a link to the site for you web site or e-mails.
4. You save the money you are spending having staff or a paid Carbon Footprint utility tracking company input or aggregate the energy consumption data.
5. You receive 3rd party verification of your projects consumption embedded in the process because we go directly to your vendors for the data.

10. You will have actual historical data and a process in place to provide data for compliance with The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) helping you identify risk / compliance management for your organization regarding compliance with upcoming mandates for tracking and emissions reductions.

Here's what you need to get certified:

1. Sign the GreenTraks S.T.O.R.I.E.S. Ambition Statement supporting the mission of effective, entrepreneurial action to reduce global carbon levels and emissions.
2. Enroll in project GreenTraks Carbon Emission & Reduction Tracking System / "GreenTraks CERTS."
3. Designate a representative to be the recipient of the GreenTrak 1st Step Award and a communications representative for press comment.
4. Provide Energy Consumption Data Release to allow Utilities to distribute project energy and utility consumption information to GreenTraks.
5. Issue GreenTraks fleet fuel cards for any project users of petroleum products and require odometer inputs at the time of fueling.
6. Execute Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement and provide voided check.
7. In the effort to Educate and Inspire other post authorized "GreenTraks Certified" exterior signage on site if permitted, post certificate in visible location in lobby where applicable, and insert into project marketing materials.
8. Select desired project Carbon Offset level ranging from 0 - 100% in 10% increments on an ongoing basis, and select a plan for offsetting historical project emissions if that is a part of your ambition.
